The next step in our GF Oats Story - transitioning from US grown to Aussie grown oats

13 years ago Kylie brought her first load of oats into Australia from farmers she had partnered with in the US. Our US suppliers were some of the first to sell uncontaminated oats and get them certified in the USA. Canada, the UK and parts of Europe soon followed. Here in Australia, we are still waiting for our food laws to be updated in relation to claims regarding oats.

Since the onset of the pandemic, GF Oats have experienced many challenges with accessing stock from overseas. Shipping and supply chains are struggling and therefore prices are soaring. We made the decision to buy 2 containers from our US farmers in November last year and waited 4 months for them to arrive.

It is with great sadness that we have made the decision to phase out our US supply but with utmost JOY that we introduce our Australian GF Oats.

Packaging Changes

With the introduction of our Aussie-grown GF Oats, over the next few months, we will be transitioning all of our products from our US-grown oats to our Aussie-grown oats. As a result, you will see packaging changing and some packaging disappearing all together. To help you to identify the products that you have come to know and love over the years, we have created this graphic so that you will easily be able to identify products in their 'new look' packaging.

New GF-oats Packaging

Our Aussie-grown oats are sourced from farmers who specialise in growing and processing oats in a clean, uncontaminated environment ensuring that they test to be free from the contamination from wheat, rye & barley. These oats are up there with the best of them - creamy, smooth and a delicious way to start the day!

We are busy preparing and packaging our new stock of Aussie Organic GF Oats and Aussie Quick Oats using the Aussie grown oats from farmers right here in Australia. Both of these products are now available throughout Australia and on  our online store.

Please stick with us as we know you want “The Oats you can Trust” and by golly gosh we have you covered.

  • I am a Celiac unfortunately, so I can’t eat WHEAT, OATS, RHYE, or BARLEY.
So thus product I am very interested in trying, I do love oats, but I can’t eat the normal Oats, so this brand I’m very interested in deed, so I would love to try this product.

  • Thank you for growing, manufacturing, and and retailing in Australia.
Cutting down on carbon miles and keeping it local.
The oats are the only ones I can eat that don’t bloat me, and they taste delicious.
I wish the oats cheaper as they’re twice the price of ‘Uncle Tobie’s’.
